VIPO a.s.

VIPO a.s. was established in 1992 by the transformation of the Research Institute of the Leather and Footwear Industry founded in 1974. The focus of the entrepreneurial activities of the company consists of the production of machinery for tire production, devices for machining and assembling carbon commutator brushes or electric motors and in the production of hot-melt, dispersion and solvent adhesives for industrial applications. Research activities of VIPO a.s. are aimed at the machinery for industrial production, mainly for the tire and carbon brush industries, at rubber chemistry, the chemistry of adhesives and the research of polymers. All products of the company are outputs of its own research and development.

In the area of tire machinery VIPO a.s. belongs to the world’s leading suppliers of bead winding and apexing lines and for the commutator carbon brush industry the company offers a unique assortment of devices starting from single-purpose machines to automatic machining and assembling lines.

In the area of chemical products VIPO a.s. has developed and manufactures a wide assortment of hot-melt, dispersion and solvent adhesives for furniture, automotive, bookbinding and tire industries while the majority of the company’s products are exported.
